It is important to note that the line of production, distribution, and other factors can cause rates to vary within our online and offline inventory. While we make every effort to maintain consistency, differences in operational processes, transportation costs, and other variables may result in slight variations in product pricing.**
Although all of our products are handpicked and undergo thorough quality checks, we appreciate that sometimes a shoe may not fit or a product not meet a customer’s expectations. In such instances, we request that you contact us directly so that we can try to resolve any issues. In the event that you need to return a product, please also contact us directly.

NB: We work with logistics partners for deliveries and returns. Each return should contain the original product packaging and the products should be in their original condition. It is your responsibility to package the products in such a way that they will not be damaged during shipping back to Cordwainers. We therefore advise customers not to dispose of the original delivery packaging until they are certain the products meet their expectations. The courier company will also require one copy of the sales invoice/s when they collect the product/s to be returned.
Product-specific policies
Items should be returned in the original condition in which they were received. We will not accept returns in the following instances:
- Damage due to misuse of products.
Products with tampered or missing serial or UPC/barcode numbers or labels.
Products returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging (if any), original invoice and any other items originally included with the product/s on delivery.
-Only items with standard prices can be refunded. Sale items cannot be returned; only damaged or defective items will be replaced. If you want to exchange it out for the same product)
Wrong Size? No Problem!
If you’ve received the wrong size, we’ll gladly arrange a replacement. While the replacement itself is free, the shipping cost will need to be borne by the customer. You can also save on shipping by visiting your nearest CORDWAINERS store and handing over the pair in person.
Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it for any signs of use or tampering and verify the original packaging and box contents. If everything is in order, we will proceed with the correct size replacement or process your refund after deducting applicable cancellation charges.
Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Refunds for card payments will be credited back to the original card. Bank transfer refunds will be processed within 7 days after return confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
Occasionally, we may be unable to fulfill your order in a reasonable amount of time. In such instances, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund as soon as possible.
You have the right to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. This can be via our website or by contacting us by phone or e-mail. In such instances, we will issues a full refund.
If you cancel your order after we have dispatched the goods, we will withhold your refund until the order is returned to our warehouse. If you do not return the order, we may arrange to have it collected from you. More details can be found in our returns policy.
Cancellation Charges: Shipping is complimentary on your first order. However, if an order is cancelled after delivery, or once a return/exchange has been initiated, a minimum cancellation fee ₹500 will be deducted from the refund. This amount covers the two-way shipping and handling costs incurred. Refunds are processed only after the returned product passes our quality check and is verified to be unused.
