Cancellation and Return Policy

Although all of our products are handpicked and undergo thorough quality checks, we appreciate that sometimes a shoe may not fit or a product not meet a customer’s expectations. In such instances, we request that you contact us directly so that we can try to resolve any issues. In the event that you need to return a product, please also contact us directly.

NB: We work with logistics partners for deliveries and returns. Each return should contain the original product packaging and the products should be in their original condition. It is your responsibility to package the products in such a way that they will not be damaged during shipping back to Cordwainers. We therefore advise customers not to dispose of the original delivery packaging until they are certain the products meet their expectations. The courier company will also require two copies of the sales invoice/s when they collect the product/s to be returned.

Product-specific policies

Items should be returned in the original condition in which they were received. We will not accept returns in the following instances:

– Damage due to misuse of products.

– Products with tampered or missing serial or UPC/barcode numbers or labels.

– Products returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging (if any), original invoice and any other items originally included with the product/s on delivery.

Bought the wrong size? No Problem! We’ll replace it at no extra cost. However, you will have to bear the shipping cost this time. Else, you can save on the shipping cost by bringing the pair to your nearest Cordwainers store.

After receiving the return, we will inspect the merchandise and compare it with pre-dispatch pictures (yep! we photograph all orders before they ship).
If it looks good, we will replace it with the correct size(s), or refund your payment.

You have seven days to initiate the return from the day your shipment arrives. If you paid by card, the refund will go to your card account. In case of cash on delivery, we will refund your money either through bank transfer or issue a credit note to you. Bank transfers will be executed within 15 days of the return confirmation.

Any return initiated after seven days of delivery will be entitled to a credit note only. This note will credit your Cordwainers account with the amount you paid for the returned merchandise. You can use this credit for future purchases at http://www.cordwainers.in/.

Cancellation Policy

1. Occasionally, we may be unable to fulfil your order in a reasonable amount of time. In such instances, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund as soon as possible.

2. You have the right to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. This can be via our website or by contacting us by phone or e-mail. In such instances, we will issues a full refund.

3. Refunds are usually issued via the same process by which the order was placed.

4. If you cancel your order after we have despatched the goods, we will withhold your refund until the order is returned to our warehouse. If you do not return the order, we may arrange to have it collected from you. More details can be found in our returns policy.
